  • Attempt unauthorised access to systems or data
  • We may restrict or terminate access to the Site at any time without notice.

4. Quotes and Estimates

Any quote or estimate provided:

  • Is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise
  • Is based on the information available at the time of quoting
  • May change if additional work, materials, or site conditions are discovered

Quotes do not include unforeseen issues such as hidden pipe damage, structural defects, blockages beyond the visible system, or non-compliant previous installations unless specifically stated.

Where possible, we will communicate and obtain approval for variations before proceeding.

5. Pricing and Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Payment is due upon completion of the work
  • Larger projects may require a deposit or progress payments

Late payments may incur reasonable interest and recovery costs as permitted by law.

Ownership of Materials

All materials and goods supplied by Today Plumbing remain our property until paid in full.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking.

Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a call-out fee.

We reserve the right to reschedule services due to weather conditions, safety concerns, supply delays, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

7. Access and Site Conditions

You must:

  • Provide safe and clear access to the work area
  • Ensure pets are secured
  • Disclose any known hazards or site risks

If the site is unsafe or inaccessible, we may suspend work and charge for time, travel, or costs incurred.

We are not responsible for faults, failures, or defects in existing plumbing systems that:

  • Were not installed by us
  • Were not reasonably detectable at the time of service
  • Arise due to age, wear and tear, corrosion, or prior non-compliant work

Access and Cosmetic Repairs

Where access is required to complete works (including cutting, drilling, trenching, or removal of walls, tiles, cabinetry, or other surfaces), we will take reasonable care.

Unless agreed in writing, we are not responsible for cosmetic repairs, repainting, retiling, landscaping reinstatement, or similar finishing work following necessary access.

8. Warranties

We warrant our workmanship in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Manufacturer warranties apply to parts and products supplied where applicable.

Our workmanship warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or lack of maintenance
  • Pre-existing faults
  • Work altered or repaired by third parties
  • Normal wear and tear

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential loss
  • Our liability is limited to the re-supply of the services or the cost of having the services re-supplied

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including weather events, material shortages, industrial action, or government restrictions.

10. Emergency Services

Emergency services are provided on a best-endeavours basis.

We cannot guarantee immediate attendance, particularly during peak demand periods or severe weather events.
